WFMPro · ROI model

Model the case on your own numbers.

Workforce management pays for itself in coverage, overtime, attrition and planner time — or it doesn't. This builds the arithmetic in front of you so you can see which lever is actually carrying the case.

Back to WFMPro

Before you start

Four places workforce management shows up in the budget.

Each one is a single multiplication. You enter your operation once, then set how much of each lever you think is available to you — and the model shows which one is actually carrying the case.

  1. Lever 01

    Better coverage against demand

Agents × cost per agent × the share you expect to recover

  2. Lever 02

    Overtime avoided

Your overtime spend × the share you expect to avoid

  3. Lever 03

    Replacement cost avoided

Agents × attrition rate × cost to replace one × your relative reduction

  4. Lever 04

    Planning and reporting time returned

Planners × cost × manual share of their time × the share you automate

Step 1

Your operation

Everyone whose time you schedule.

Fully loaded: salary plus on-costs.

Premium hours. Enter 0 if you don't run overtime.

Leavers as a share of headcount.

Recruitment, onboarding, time to competence.

People building forecasts, schedules, reports.

Fully loaded, same basis as the agent figure.

Spreadsheets, rekeying, assembling reports.

Step 2

Where the benefit comes from

Each lever says what WFMPro does, the arithmetic it feeds, and what it is worth on your figures. The percentages are yours to set — we have not measured them for you.

Better coverage against demand

$110,00065% of the total

Interval-level forecasting with Erlang-C staffing, and an optimizer that builds the roster against your rules — so paid hours sit where demand actually is instead of where last month's template put them.

Agents × cost per agent × the share you expect to recover

See Forecasting & demand in WFMPro
2%

This is the largest number on the page because it multiplies your whole payroll. A fraction of a percent is a real result here, so start low.

Overtime avoided

$27,00016% of the total

Live coverage and adherence monitoring raises the gap as an alert, and a VTO and overtime marketplace fills it from agents who want the hours — before it becomes premium time bought at short notice.

Your overtime spend × the share you expect to avoid

See Real-time & agentic operations in WFMPro
15%

Only counts the overtime you buy to cover a gap that was foreseeable. Overtime driven by genuine demand spikes stays.

Replacement cost avoided

$13,1258% of the total

Native mobile self-service, rule-checked swaps and time-off, and a fairness objective that spreads nights and weekends rather than landing them on the same people every month.

Agents × attrition rate × cost to replace one × your relative reduction

See Agent experience & engagement in WFMPro
5%

Relative, not percentage points: 5% of a 30% attrition rate is 1.5 points. Schedule quality is one driver among many, so be conservative here.

Planning and reporting time returned

$20,25012% of the total

Auto-scheduling, a report composer your team drives themselves, and scheduled delivery — instead of rebuilding the same spreadsheet and the same pack every week.

Planners × cost × manual share of their time × the share you automate

See Reporting & analytics in WFMPro
30%

A saving only if that capacity is redeployed to analysis or avoids a hire. If the time just disappears, set this to 0.

How this is calculated

Four levers, and the arithmetic behind each.

Nothing here is hidden. Each line is one multiplication, and you set every percentage in it.

This is a model, not a forecast, a benchmark or a commitment. The defaults are conservative starting points we chose to be edited, not results measured in production — change every one of them to your own figures. It deliberately leaves out revenue and service-level effects, which depend on far more than workforce management. Platform cost is only included if you enter it from your own proposal; we don't publish pricing. Nothing you type is sent anywhere — the calculation runs entirely in your browser.

Build the real case together.

Bring your own figures and we'll model it properly against your baseline — including the parts a calculator can't capture.
